Biography 
I am primarily a self taught artist who fell in love with nature. I like to experiment with different textures and colors, but always seem to return to the purity of tonalism.
New Orleans, La. is home but after hurricane Katrina me and my family relocated in New York. We now own and operate an art gallery and frame shop in Fairport New York called "Hanging Around Frame and Art". (www.FramingRochester.com) I make a point to set aside time every day to pursue my passion as an artist. I'm fortunate to have experienced so much in my life, I have live in 17 states, numerous cities and have had the opportunity to visited several other countries. I love bathing myself in unique and exciting cultures. I believe the best way to understand people is to first understand where they came from. I also believe that an artists' experiences comes through in the pieces they create. I do some plein air paintings, but most of my work comes from my memories, my experiences. I do accept commissions on landscapes. I also have many more pictures of each painting, just ask.
