This is an oil painting of a forest floor with morel mushrooms and lady slipper flowers. It has an earthy quality and the paint is heavy enough to see and feel the texture.
The painting is only of the forest floor. The black edge surrounding the painting is the black velvet I photographed it on. I did this so I could photoshop the size and name of the piece in the image.
